I forget sometimes that my husband is neurodivergent and my kids are neurodivergent and my mom is neurodivergent and my friends are neurodivergent and then the holidays hit and my Very Neurotypical sister and her Extremely Neurotypical husband visit and I can feel the muscles at the corners of my eyes and mouth shaking as my face pulls itself into a mask.

thanks for answering my question, even if you can't actually answer my question lol. you wouldn't happen to know of any blogs on here i might have better luck asking that question to, do you? i'm just getting a bit desperate in seeking help understanding ir theory since i can't get any formal academic help ha
i dont know anyone specifically who could help but i did a little searching around the internet and think i have tools that could help?
you should drop by r/piracy (honestly everyone should) and go onto their megathread. get the vpn recommended there (i use it its $8 nzd (($5 usd)) a month) if you dont have one and start going through some of the links and categories they have for books and textbooks. when looking for introductory texts on the subject i found these links:
https://www.academia.edu/98974263/Introducing_International_Relations_Concepts_Theories_and_Practices
https://www.e-ir.info/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/International-Relations-E-IR.pdf
https://archive.org/details/an-introduction-to-international-relations-book
I think these textbooks look like good ways to start. they'll have references inside them to other texts you can also look into. If there's no way to download them in full through those links I would advise going to the book section of R/Piracy, selecting annas (i use annas for textbooks usually) or one of the science textbooks hubs and then searching for the textbooks through there + also looking through the hubs there for other texts that might be helpful if these are too dense + texts that are more specific. for example i used this to get base media studies texts in the later years in my study so when it came to spending money on textbooks i could get books specifically on social media regulation in NZ.
good luck! i wish i could help more!

can i be borderline controversial and say that i do think there's a correlation between the love and adoration for the other kings, Leviathan's brutal honesty about grey-morality and involvement in war when you know him as Leviathan, and his lack of worshipers here under that name. the controversial part being that the other kings seem way more into propaganda flourishing and part of why i say that is because ive known both of them and they fucking do that oops hashtag UPG (PVG) spilled outta my pockets there
ie its always people who work for the other kings i see so caught up in how loving and pure the kings and ''demons'' are, and you COULD say that's just because Lev doesn't have many worshipers under that name but I think its more so because when you know "Leviathan" uhhhhh. like you could say lack of lev worshipers = lack of lev propaganda but i think its more so lev isnt going to pretend to be a beautiful siren man in a suit who tells you he loves you so so much even tho he just met you two seconds ago
#there's many factors IMO why we dont see many Leviathan worshipers so much as Shaivites and (insert other names here)#one of which is this but another big factor is. he. doesnt like Chrxstianity in the way that his brothers do lmfao he has other#ways of worshiping him and other labels that arent ''demon'' or occult and reverse-cxtholic aesthetics including latin and#priesthood and whatnot. i love that shit bc travelling to another country to grow up from age 10 and being exposed to the beauty#of cxtholic architecture and worship and aesthetics was cool af it was really like. i love this expression of devotion i love all human#devotion and i love gold and i love SUFFERING lmfao so. im always like oooo aesthetics and hes like. ah. hmm. no thanks#which is NOT to say thats all demonolatry is and IS to say he much prefers in my experience other ways of worshiping him#milk honey and ghee for one fucking example lmfao. flowers thrown into the ocean. blessing horses. traversing the wilderness. storm#chasing. I GUESS THERES A REASON HIS BIG NAMES are Shiva(/Rudra)/Poseidon/Tengri/etc and not Leviathan#as he was saying to me he's... he's not a god found in churches hes overhead at all times at least partially. hes in our dna. hes in the#trees surrounding our towns hes the deer and the wolves and the wild playfulness vs efficient machinery of horses. the rivers and the ocean#the clouds. mathematics. actual machines. i think trying to tie him into like... latin and chrxstian inspired rites and the word ''demon''.#ive said it before. If you catch him in a certain mood he does actually enjoy roleplaying the ''demon'' persona and the antithesis and#undoing of chrxstianity but. hes. not what he is not. listen he LOVES spooking people and if youre spooked by demons... he loves being#intimidating if you want a big tough king that also understands your deep and dark sides and who is intelligent and gentle but Dark#yeah im sure he'll be Leviathan for you but its like. idk. OH THIS IS. THIS IS THE SECOND REASON. THE POST IS ABOUT THE FIRST#THAT I LISTED LMFAOOOOOO#sorry im so in love w him atm let me talk about him please#~abyssal murmurs

Inigo loves Archie so much it kills him inside :’)
#just pav things#I noticed something about their dynamic. or maybe it’s closer to remembered.#See electric guitar on it’s own is not complete without it’s heartbeat. The drums.#My firm belief is that I would not enjoy nearly as many tunes if it weren’t for their dictated pace as well#My best example (and sorry for the predictability) is pq’s F.O.E.. Pay attention to the melody line.#These two instruments are so complementary to each other!#And I think that’s why I made Inigo a drummer way back when#You know Inigo consciously decided on that—#He just wants to be there for Archie he wants to be there WITH Archie#who used to be a guitarist if you recall~#And this is still reflected in more recent incarnations!#He trained himself to be ambidextrous because he thought it would be a cool thing to show off to Archie#He’s so incredibly academically inclined because learning how to speak and do mathematics was how Inigo bonded with him#Being able to show off what he learned and getting the encouragement and congratulations#He admired Archie as an older figure in his life before everything else y’know#He was a literal toddler how was Archie NOT supposed to imprint on him.#After all he paid attention to him#Held him close on cold nights to help him fall asleep. Sharing the warmth of body and breath#And I think this is so crucial to understanding Inigo and events like his hysteria moment#He runs off of so much fear which is driven by his LOVE for those around him#He loves Archus so he’s scared about what effect he had on him after the incident#He loves Cynthia so he maintains his distance so he doesn’t lose her too#And the resulting isolation destroys him. His true heart is left in dormant sleepiness being kept hidden for so long in sheer anxiety :(#Now if only if there was another Dandelion…. ;)

Dice are too discreet for my liking. I want continuous dice. Spherical dice where there’s a 1 and 0 on opposite sides and the magnitude depends on where the top of the dice is. Or even better introduce positives and negatives, so the poles are 1 and -1, and the “equator” is 0. And why should we stop at just real numbers? Have the north and South Pole be 1 and -1, the midpoint on either side being 0, and then have a prime meridian-type line where the poles are i and -i. This gets you a complex number with the magnitude of the real and imaginary components being less than one, then you can either have the die have different extremes (3,-3,3i,&-3i for example) or have a discrete die to scale the whole number up. What would it be used for? I don’t fucking know, but I’m sure I could fit it into d&d. If I did a custom d&d campaign I’d love to be an arithmancer, and have mathematics basically being a branch of sorcery. And using continuous dice would be a cool detail.

sometimes im like nah i don't have the autism where i personify objects, but then i remember that the way i recall how to differentiate trigonometric equations is 'sine is happy and admires cosine so is glad to be turned into a cos, so it is positive (d/dx[sin(x)] = cos(x)), whereas cos is aloof and resentful of being turned into sin, so it is negative (d/dx[cos(x)] = -sin(x))'

Learn Mathematics through Hands-on Activity for Students
Mathematics is frequently seen as a complicated and abstract topic, which causes students to become distracted and anxious. Hands-on activities, on the other hand, have the potential to revolutionize the learning experience by making arithmetic more engaging, interactive, and accessible. By adding manipulatives and real-world applications, children can gain a better comprehension of mathematical ideas, encouraging a lifetime love of the subject.
Benefits of Hands-on Learning
Hands-on mathematics activities have several significant benefits. They help to demystify difficult topics by breaking them down into tangible components. This strategy encourages student collaboration because many exercises may be completed in groups, boosting communication and teamwork. Furthermore, hands-on exercises can boost confidence; students who struggle with conventional methods frequently succeed and like these interactive projects.
Furthermore, these activities promote discovery and innovation. Instead of memorizing formulas and methods, students are taught to experiment and uncover mathematical concepts through trial and error. This practical learning method can spark curiosity and a lifelong interest in mathematics.
Examples of Hands-on Activities
Manipulatives for Elementary Students
Blocks, counters, and geometric forms are extremely useful manipulatives for young students. These tools enable students to visualize numbers, patterns, and spatial relationships. For example, utilizing coloured blocks to represent various numbers might help students comprehend addition and subtraction. Similarly, geometric forms can be used to explore ideas such as symmetry, area, and perimeter.
Fun Maths Games to Play in the Classroom
Maths games that encourage students to solve puzzles or accomplish tasks can make learning more engaging and competitive. Board games, card games, and digital apps sometimes include mathematical difficulties that involve strategic thinking. For example, games like "Math Bingo" and "Sudoku" promote quick mental calculations and logical reasoning.
Project-Based Learning
Long-term projects involving mathematical concepts can lead to a better understanding of the subject. For example, students can design a survey, collect data, and use statistical methods to assess the results. Another assignment could be to design a tiny garden, which requires measurements, area calculations, and a grasp of proportions.
Implementing Hands-on Learning for Students In Classroom
To integrate hands-on activities into your teaching practice, start small. Begin with simple manipulatives or activities and gradually increase complexity. Secondly, make it relevant by connecting creative maths activities to real-world scenarios or students' interests which in turn will lead to encouraging exploration. Allow students to discover mathematical concepts through trial and error.
Keeping all of it in mind, a group of young SAIoneers in Class IV launched on an exciting adventure into the world of mathematics via a hands-on exercise. The students were inspired by their curiosity and propelled by their creativity as they participated in an interactive lesson centered on the basic idea of adding value using building blocks. Read more.
The classroom was alive with activity as students excitedly engaged in numerical operations, handling physical items to understand the abstract idea of addition. This tactile experience not only strengthened their comprehension of mathematical procedures, but also helped children acquire important abilities like problem solving, critical thinking, and cooperation.
Conclusion
Introducing hands-on activities into math education is an effective method for increasing student involvement and knowledge. By making mathematics interactive and relevant, educators may improve the learning experience, making it more interesting and effective. As students interact, study, and experiment with mathematical concepts, they gain a better understanding and mastery of the topic, laying the groundwork for future academic and everyday success.

[ID: A screenshot of a Tumblr reblog by user ordinarytalk from myrskytuuli. It reads, "#getting real suspicious about the increasing conflation of fantasy with reality in fandom #'you must only read and write Good and Pure things! Otherwise you're secretly Evil :)' is the song of book burners and history revisionists #the growing number of fans treating shipping as a sign of moral purity is troubling at best and terrifying at worst #Never trust someone who tells you to police your thoughts. Never trust someone who tells you that bad thoughts are the same as bad actions. #and most of all #Never trust a purity spiral. #fandom". End ID.]

I really think everyone needs to truly internalize this:
Fictional characters are objects.
They are not people. You cannot "objectify" them, because they have no personhood to be deprived of. They have no humanity to be erased. You cannot "disrespect" them, because they are not real.

I've developed mathematics for a non-human mind, for my comic "The book written by tiny paws"
Sapient distant descendants of rats, known as packers, living on Earth millions of years after the extinction of humans, began to develop mathematics using cognitive mechanisms never intended for such tasks. Due to an evolutionary quirk, multiplication came more naturally to them than addition, and their mathematics reflects this.
Packers write numbers as shapes, with each number having a corresponding number of corners.
Tumblr media
And they write large numbers as nested shapes. The number inside is multiplied by the number outside.
Tumblr media
Examples of some numbers:
Tumblr media
Packers haven't invented 0 yet. They haven't even invented 1! In fact, they don’t need the concept of "one" much in their system. There's no need to say "I ate one fish" when they can simply say "I ate fish".
Packers can't yet write large prime numbers, like 101 or 10,501, because they would have to draw a huge shape to represent them! Even writing 17 or 19 would be quite difficult if they only used convex shapes.
Tumblr media
So packers use non-convex shapes too!
Tumblr media
Many years later, some packer noticed that large prime numbers look suspiciously symmetric.
Tumblr media
So this packer improved the notation system and made it clearer.
Tumblr media
Later, another packer simplified this system even more, deciding that there was no point in writing the same shapes twice.
Tumblr media
This packer was the first in their culture to declare that "a dot isolated from a number" should also be considered a number. The packer called this dot "the wonderful number that's less than two".
Many years later, another packer made an important innovation: the "dot isolation" could be repeated multiple times as long as the result remained odd. When the result became even, it could undergo a "two isolation" (division by two). The final result will be a series of dots and twos.
Tumblr media
This invention led to the creation of a binary system based on one and two, which had a significant impact on the technological advancement of packers.
Tumblr media
The comic "the book written by tiny paws" talks about all of this in more detail. There will be mistakes, debates, the invention of rational, irrational, multivariate numbers, and some other stuff. Some stuff will be very much like human math, and some will be different. After all, math is still math, only the point of view has changed.
